Continuing to spend their days apart, Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson were both spotted out on separate coasts in the States.

With a big smile on her face, LiLo spent the day paying a visit to her lawyer’s office before heading over to Dr. Tea’s in West Hollywood with a gal pal.

Meanwhile, Miss Ronson was busy traveling from Los Angeles to Washington DC, during which time an insider tells: “She looked really lonely and confused without her (Lindsay), although she did have a pillow she could cuddle with and a picture of her dog on her cell phone.”

And now there’s buzz about Miss Lohan flirting with actor Sean Penn at Nobu last night, as a source revealed, “Sean was the only guy at a table full of Lindsay and her friends. The whole table chatted and chain-smoked.”

When asked about the celebrity pairing, LiLo’s rep said, “All I know is that they have known each other since they made films in New Orleans.”
