Cheryl Cole's Playboy snub

Cheryl Cole has vowed never to pose in Playboy magazine.

The Girls Aloud beauty - who is married to soccer star Ashley Cole - insists she would never shed her clothes for the adult publication.

She said: "There's nothing tasteful about pieces of fruit covering your bits. Have some class!"

Cheryl also denied rumours she has had breast implants, saying she would be open about it if she had the operation.

I haven't got any hang-ups, but if I did, I wouldn't deny it

She added: "If someone has got small boobs and surgery is going to make them a happier, more confident person, then go for it. I haven't got any hang-ups, but if I did, I wouldn't deny it. I wouldn't just come out with big boobs and say, 'No, I haven't had an operation!'

"Anyway, I think imperfections are sexy. If everyone looks perfect, it's not attractive and it's not real life. I can't understand people who want to have bum implants. Go to the gym and get that a**e moving!"

The event, in association with Bebo, also saw celebrities revealing what they would send into space.

McFly revealed they would like aliens to know about X Factor judge Cheryl Cole: "She’s absolutely gorgeous. She’s got the perfect body and we’re really enjoying watching her on our TV screens".

How Cheryl appears in the pictures

Scouting for Girls revealed their admiration for a Baywatch legend: "I'd send a picture of David Hasselhoff into space - he would give aliens an impression of what a human man should look like".

The Jonas Brothers revealed they fancy Victoria Beckham, as they picked her out as the person they’d most like to send into space because ‘she would show aliens the perfect body of a woman’.

Basshunter gave an insight into his eating habits when he said he’d like "to send a big plate of fish and chips, because it’s really good and I eat at least one portion a day".

George Sampson gave a demonstration of a breakdancing move, from which he would like ‘aliens to learn’.

The messages were beamed into space from the National Space Agency in Ukraine, and ran on Bebo throughout the summer. There are now plans to make A Message From Earth into a TV show.
