Introducing Quantum of Solace
This week sees a welcome return to the big screen for super spy James Bond in Quantum of Solace, the twenty second film in the long standing franchise, which sees Daniel Craig reprise the role of 007 for the second time.
Directed by Marc Foster, who brought us The Kite Runner and Monster's Ball, Quantum of Solace picks up where Casino Royale left off and Bond battles Dominic Greene (Mathieu Amalric), a member of the Quantum organisation posing as an environmentalist, who intends to stage a coup d'état in Bolivia to take control of its water supply.
But Bond seeks revenge for the death of Vesper Lynd, and is assisted by Camille (Olga Kurylenko), who also wants to kill Greene.

So to celebrate the release of the film, yes I'm very excited, FemaleFirst took a look at some of the film's characters in a little more depth.
James Bond
This new Bond is unlike any that we have ever seen before he is a very flawed human who is desperately trying to keep his feelings in check whilst holding in to what he believes is right and wrong.
Betrayed by Vesper, the woman he loved, 007 fights the urge to make his latest mission personal. Pursuing his determination to uncover the truth driven by revenge over the death of Vesper his desire for retribution has to be kept in check by M.
Dominic Greene
Played by Mathieu Amalric new villain Greene is a leading member of Quantum, a terrorist organisation, but posing as a businessman working in reforestation and charity funding for environmental science.
However behind his charity work and smart suits Greene is using his associates in the organisation, and manipulating his powerful contacts within the CIA and the British government, promising to overthrow the existing regime in a Latin American country, giving the exiled General Medrano control of the country in exchange for a seemingly barren piece of land.
