Meandering out for a rainy day meet-up, Jessica Biel was spotted enjoying the company of a few friends while at The Grove Mall in Los Angeles.

The former “7th Heaven” starlet and her pals did some shopping at Nordstrom, also conversing over lunch before getting a police escort out to the car.

Aside from enjoying afternoons at the mall, Miss Biel is also gearing up for her recently announced hosting duties at the Academy of Motion Picture
Arts and Sciences’ Scientific and Technical Awards.

According to a Star magazine report, “The Oscars for techies, which takes place this Saturday in Beverly Hills, won’t be televised. However, clips from the ceremony will be shown during the Academy Awards on Feb. 22.”
